I Have A Vague Memory Of A Tale…

Some say you truly realize the worth of something when you’ve lost it.

I’m glad I found another way to marvel at the beauty and power of the amazing family I have here with Your Favorite Enemies.

The Red Crown Crane jewelry collection was just released and each day that passes by reveals more and more how this project is the fruit of the work of the whole team. Is there more honor for the one that planted the seed than for the one that waters the plants or the one that reaps??? If the goal is commonly to see an incredible harvest, each person becomes essential and worth of all the honor. That is why I had a strong desire in my heart to honor each person of the YFE crew in a very special way. So we invited all the team to a very special event in our café, people were welcomed one person at a time, thanking each of them individually for adding their own life and passion to the Red Crown Crane. Alex was the most wonderful DJ, he had chosen specific vinyls for the ambiance, some to relax and talk and some to go crazy and dance! I had prepared some appetizers with fine cheese and caviar served with some good wine. For me it was important to offer my family the best, something that would make them feel like they had won an oscar or something like that! Lol! Because for me, they really do deserve a prize, for their dedication, for their hard work, for their tears as they really care for people all around the world, for their fervor, for their opened hearts, for their faithfulness to remind me I can have dreams and I have what it takes to accomplish them all. Celebrating what we accomplish is important…Celebrating what we are together and the unity with which we fight to live is irreplaceable. I have to admit the more I trust in this love, the more I let myself go to explore, the more in fact I find myself living dreams I wasn’t even conscious I had! I guess these dreams were either long forgotten or they seemed so unrealistic that I just stopped thinking about them.

Creating jewelry and sharing them with so many people all around the world is one amazing dream that I’m blessed to live now and when I gave my speech during our Red Crown Crane Gala, I knew that I had realized even deeper the worth of my brothers and sisters surrounding me… This was my thank you speech and I want to include you in it, as you guys are at the center of what we do…you guys gave us wings so many times… as you guys are our every day companions …

“I have a vague memory of a tale…

It’s the story of a beautiful bird, a young crane that was joyful, creative and playful.

He was spending days imagining stories and dreaming of exploring the world.

That dream could have been very possible but one thing was tragically missing: the crane wasn’t aware he had wings…

The bird thought he was destined to walk with his long funny and clumsy legs, unfit for this environment that felt so small, so limited…

Confined into a world that saddened the crane who tried so hard to change, to fit, to please, to avoid trouble, to find a little bit of peace.

One blessed day, the crane met a companion and for the very first time he was told that these big feathers had an a amazing purpose.

He learned that he didn’t belong to the dirt.

He suddenly understood he could learn to fly.

The wings of the crane were withered and undeveloped as they had never been used.

Just stretching them was painful, so the crane doubted greatly that his companion was telling the truth.

Heaven graced the bird with a very faithful, compassionate and persevering companion that made the commitment to always be there to show it was possible.

The companion was pulling on the wings, pushing the grumpy and scared crane to at least try,

lovingly reminding him there was a sky up there that was theirs to explore, to define and to enjoy.

Soon enough, the crane and his companion were joined by many more.

Such a curious vision, them, all learning just to BE… to be freely what they were created to be.

Today, my most precious companions,

we can say our wings are extended and they touch the four corners of the world…

Today, the greatness of our soaring is not about how high we fly or how far we go…

Today our greatest accomplishment is that we did take off all together…together as one.

The Red Crown Crane is you.

The Red Crown Crane is all of us.”

    hi dear Isa!

This night you describe is one that I know will be carried in the memories of all who experienced it, yourself included, as powerful nourishment for the journey!! And somehow, I know that all of us who love you and are woven into your hearts (and you into ours) were with you…spirits and faces and memories flowing through your minds and hearts. It is so easy for all of us to get caught up in the whirl-wind of “doing”, and not spare the time or energy to share appreciation and encouragement with others in our lives, especially those closest to us. Your words are a reminder to me today, that time truly is of the essence and cannot be returned to us, once a moment has passed, but fortunately there is mercy and grace, and as long as there is life, there is another chance to reach out in love and healing. I loved your speech!! The imagery is poignant and revealing and full of hope – yes, in some way, the Red Crane is all of us, I think – just as is everything we do, for when extended, our wings really do touch the 4 corners of the globe..who would have ever thought such a magic miracle could come to pass and keep on growing..the Vision truly has a Life of its own – Life creating Life for all eternity!!

Much love and prayers always!!! you know it!!! mom e

    Hey Sweet Sis!
I want to start by telling all of you how happy that I am to see how each of you brought the Red Crown Crane Collection, and all that you each have put your energy into come alive! It is serves as a reminder for me, to keep believing in the dream, though it is a long and hard journey at times, it is worth it! I would rather lose a “title” like working in CS, but feel very fulfilled with my family by my side, and that is what is important. Our spirits are what drives us to keep pressing towards what we dream, and I thank you for being a great sister, and appreciate each time you gave me advice. I love Alex so very much, xoxoxand I always send love to all, thanking God for the day that we all were brought together!

I love the meaning behind the Red Crown Crane, but also, it is special for the fact all of you put your own personal touches to it, and I really have no words to say how all of you inspire me!

    Love from your Sister,

    Heather

This was an incredible evening, and a true success in making the team know and feel included in this unique project.
Another way to discover your heart and witness what we can accomplish together when we all put our hearts into it and simply believe that we do have an impact, no-matter if we are in the shadows or in the spotlight.

Such inspiration and emotion! Isn’t it amazing that we are far apart, but our wings still touch? They can still lift us up when we are down, that compassion and love is why your dreams take flight. Thought, actions, and hard work turn dreams of all into a reality! Never forget you are loved, and never forget to love. 🙂 we can move mountains…and if they won’t budge, we shall spread our new found wings and fly! Can’t wait to place my order for my box set plugs. I love this collection! I love you. Your brother in craziness, Sean.
